A beautiful warm, sunny day in Bristol. I set off at 8:30am to visit the practices in Clifton, Clifton East, Cotham and Cabot ward. Great to cycle without the need for wet weather gear!
First stop was the Student's Health Service in Hampton House at the top of St Michaels Hill.
Next stop was the Whiteladies Health Centre, which appeared one of the busiest surgeries so far.
Then on to two surgeries on Pembroke Road… First the Pembroke Road surgery – much of the discussion was about parking, including a request for a disabled parking bay outside the surgery, which I have passed on to council officers.
.. and Dr Nick Ring's surgery at 58 Pembroke Road – I met Dr Ring later in Hotwells.
Then over towards the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Dr Tom Frewin's practice at 52 Clifton Down Road in Clifton.
A nice run down the hill to find Dr Ring's Hotwell's surgery. Great to meet up with Nick, share a cup of tea, and hear first hand about his local community. Patients talked about the traffic and parking problems around the local streets.
Continued towards the city centre…
